Terms of Use

1. Who we are

Living as IF is Quin’s business, based in the United Kingdom (“we”, “us”). You can reach us at hello@living-as-if.com.

When these terms say “you”, they mean the person using the site.

2. Your account

Your account is created when you buy something or when our team sets it up for you. It’s for you alone: please don’t share your login or let anyone else use your account.

• Keep your password safe, and tell us straight away if you think someone else has used your account.
• Keep your email address up to date in your cabin, so receipts and messages reach you.
• You must be 18 or over to buy from us or to take part in the club.

You can close your account at any time by writing to us. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms (see “The club”).

3. Buying books and courses

Prices are shown before you pay, in US dollars or British pounds, and include any tax we’re required to charge at checkout. Payments are taken by Stripe or PayPal; we never see or store your card details.

When you buy a book or a course, you get personal access to it in your cabin for as long as we offer it on the site. If we ever stop offering something you bought, we’ll give you reasonable notice and a way to keep reading or watching what you paid for where we can.

Some courses are free. You enroll with your account, and the same terms apply.

4. The 5D Pass

The 5D Pass is a membership that renews automatically until you cancel, at the price and interval shown when you join. It includes the books and courses listed on the membership page, the club, a direct line to Quin, and a member discount on other purchases.

• You can cancel at any time in your cabin. You keep everything the pass includes until the end of the period you’ve paid for, and you aren’t charged again.
• We don’t refund part of a period you’ve already started.
• If the price changes, we’ll tell you by email at least 30 days before your next payment, and you can cancel before it applies.
• What the pass includes may change over time as we add and retire books and courses.

5. Your right to cancel, and refunds

If you buy as a consumer in the UK or EU, you normally have 14 days to change your mind about an online purchase. At checkout you’re asked to confirm that you’d like access straight away; because you do, that right ends once you start reading, watching or using what you bought.

Whatever the rules, if something you bought isn’t right, write to us at hello@living-as-if.com within 14 days of buying it. We’ll look at every request and refund you where it’s fair to. Refunds go back to the card or PayPal account you paid with.

Nothing in these terms affects your legal rights as a consumer.

6. Using what you buy

The books, courses, recordings, videos and everything else on the site belong to Quin and Living as IF, and are protected by copyright. Buying something gives you a personal, non-transferable right to read, watch and listen to it for your own use.

Please don’t copy, share, resell or publish any of it (including passing on your login, sharing downloads, or recording videos), or use it to train software or build something that competes with it. Short quotes with credit to Living as IF are welcome.

7. The club

The Consciousness Chat Club is for 5D Pass members (and, around a course, its students). It works because people feel safe in it. When you post, reply, message or chat:

• Be kind and respectful, including when you disagree.
• Don’t harass, threaten or demean anyone, or share anything hateful, sexual, violent or illegal.
• Don’t advertise, sell, recruit or spam, or post links to do so.
• Don’t share other people’s private information, or anything you don’t have the right to share.
• Don’t give medical, legal or financial advice, or claim results for anyone else.

Our team may hide or remove posts and messages that break these rules, and may suspend or close the account of anyone who keeps breaking them. You can report a post or a private message, and block anyone who messages you.

What you post stays yours. By posting, you let us show it in the club to the people who can see that space, for as long as it’s there. You can delete your own posts.

8. Wellbeing, not advice

Living as IF shares ideas, practices and experiences for personal and spiritual growth. They are not medical, psychological, financial or legal advice, and they aren’t a substitute for care from a qualified professional. If you have a health condition or are in crisis, please talk to a doctor or another professional first.

Everyone’s journey is different. We can’t promise any particular result, in your health, relationships, work or income, from reading, practicing or taking part.

9. Certificates

When you complete a course that awards one, you receive a certificate with your name, the course and the date. Each certificate has its own code and check page (its address is printed on it), where anyone with the link can see the same details. A certificate shows that you completed the course on this site; it isn’t a professional qualification.

10. The site itself

We work to keep the site available and safe, but we can’t promise it will always be available or free of errors, and we may change, pause or retire parts of it. We’ll give you notice of anything that affects what you’ve paid for.

Please don’t try to get around how the site works: no probing, scraping, overloading or attempting to reach accounts or content that aren’t yours.

11. Our responsibility to you

If we break these terms, we’re responsible for loss or damage you suffer that was a foreseeable result. We aren’t responsible for loss that wasn’t foreseeable, for business losses, or for problems caused by things outside our control.

Our total responsibility to you for any purchase is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits our responsibility for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law doesn’t allow us to limit.

12. Changes, and the law that applies

We may update these terms from time to time; the date at the top shows when they last changed. If a change affects your 5D Pass or something you’ve bought, we’ll tell you by email before it applies.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK or the EU, you keep the protection of your own country’s consumer laws and can bring a claim in your local courts.
